Performance

A. Take 15 minutes and build to today’s 1RM Clean or Power Clean

B.  EMOM, for 15 minutes:

1st minute – 5 Power Cleans @ 65-75% of today’s 1RM

2nd minute – 200/150m Row or 20/15c AirDyne

3rd minute – 20 Dips

*modify ring dips to number that can be performed in 45 seconds or less

 

C1. Lean Away Pull-Ups on Rings @ 4111; 3-4 reps x 3 sets, rest 30sec

C2. Bottom’s Up Kettlebell Carry; 2lengths of gym x 3 sets, rest 30sec

*Beginners sub 3-4 eccentric Pullups for Lean Away PU

Performance

A. 
Take 15 minutes to build to a heavy Power Clean

B. 
In 12 minutes, complete as many ladders as possible from 1 to 5 reps of Hang Power Clean, with approximately 75% of your 1-RM Power Clean

(Example – Perform 1 Hang Power Clean, drop the barbell and rest as needed; then perform 2 Hang Power Cleans, drop the bar and rest as needed; then perform 3 Hang Power Cleans, drop the bar and rest as needed; etc…up to 5 Hang Power Cleans, then start again at 1. If you drop the barbell before you achieve the designated number of reps in that set, you must begin that set over – i.e., if you drop the bar on your fourth attempt of your set of 5, you must begin the set of 5 again from 0.)

 These workouts will be done at Calibrated every Saturday b/w 10am and 1pm.

The WODS will be no different from any other training day except everyone will have a judge and a Heat they are assigned to. Immediately following the OPEN we will have a cookout to celebrate everyon’s hard work!  Despite your ranking this will be a great way to help our Calibrated Community grow while setting some awesome goals for your future in CrossFit!

If you choose not to sign up there will still be a 9am class every Saturday to get your workout in.

 

Performance

A. 
Take 12-15 minutes and build to a heavy Power Clean

 Beginners:

A. Every 90sec for 15min (8 sets)

3-position Power Clean (high hang.above knee.below knee)

 

B. 
Five sets for times of:

5 Power Cleans (135/95)

15 Box Jumps (24/20)
- step down

Rest 2 minutes

* Goal is same times per set

*Focus on cycling efficiency and soft landings on box

6/23 Saturday

A. close grip bench press – build to a tough double fast
B. hang power clean – build to a max single fast

Partner wod
2 bells:
farmers walk 800 m for time team effort sharing – 1 heavy KB/hand
REST 5 min
500 double unders for time – team score
(if fractions occur, other P goes, i.e. if P2 only does 4 in a row, P1 MUST go again right away)
