My fitness journey started back in 1983 when I accepted a scholarship to play football at Arizona Western College. I have been in pursuit of fitness ever since. Over the years I have enjoyed several different hobbies that required an advanced fitness level. I’ve raced dirt bikes, and then competed in local mountain bike racing. Daily workouts at the traditional monthly membership gym were the norm. My first CrossFit experience was when I stepped inside the door at Calibrated CrossFit back in 2014. Since then, I’ve done a fair amount of traveling and have been to several other CrossFit gyms. I can say with confidence that the programming and coaching at Calibrated are ” Top Notch”. Arjuna asked me to help coach in 2018, and I have been honored to be a part of this community ever since.
The coaches at Calibrated realize that every member comes to the gym with different challenges. My goal is to make sure everyone has a safe, effective and fun workout. The beauty of Arjuna’s programming is that every workout can be scaled to meet the needs of any athlete, regardless of fitness level or experience.
When time permits, I can be found in the kitchen attempting to copy a meal I saw prepared on TV or out in the barn tinkering with one of many motorsport projects.
