I found CrossFit in early 2013 in search of something to keep me fit and healthy, but also fuel my competitive spirit. Being an athlete most of my life, I struggled with motivation after college and running was getting old (I still love it, but need more!). After my first CrossFit workout, I was hooked – I found myself looking up the workouts ahead of time, and getting excited (and slightly nervous) about certain workouts and movements. The excitement also came from the community that gyms create – and Calibrated has created an amazing community of people who have become some of my closest friends.
Being a Registered Dietitian specializing in sports nutrition, I love helping people create healthy habits and fuel their lives (both in and out of the gym). This led me to coaching at Calibrated. It is another way for me to help people create healthy habits that keep their bodies strong. Seeing a new face in class gets me so excited to see their progress over the days, months, and years. Every PR (personal record) is celebrated at Calibrated and it truly is a gym for anyone!
