Over six years ago, I was on my 13th year of Ellipticizing…Ha! Not sure if that’s a word but it definitely should not have been my only form of exercise. I was bored and wanted a change. And I was motivated to stay fit in order to keep up with my children. I had a friend that mentioned CrossFit and how fun it was. So, February 2015 I began my CrossFit journey. The first On-Ramp rocked my world! I left feeling exhausted but so alive, and I knew I was hooked from that moment. When I started, I couldn’t do a push-up and I didn’t know what a burpee was. I moved slowly and safely, and progressed through more challenging movements and exercises. Now, after six fun years here at Calibrated, I am in the best shape of my life. I can do squats, push-ups, pull-ups, burpees, and so much more. I am so excited about how CrossFit has helped me that I am constantly trying to convince others to come try it out. I just want everyone to feel like I do…happy and healthy! I became a coach for the very purpose of helping people, no matter what age, find their strength and the joy in being active and healthy. When I’m not coaching or working out, I am spending time with my fantastic family which includes a wonderful husband, two beautiful girls, a couple of fluffy dogs, and a bearded dragon.
